When you hear Jack White playing guitar, you can hear so much blues and rock history in it. He knows his roots. I did see The White Stripes live a few years ago, and did attend a show with his new band The Raconteurs this summer. One of the greatest rock musicians born after 1970.

Jack White is one of the best guitar players that has hit the scene in the last 10 years...wild rock and blues for sure...a great choice as a guest! Can't wait for this dvd to come out...

The first song I heard on the soundsystem right after The White Strips concert was Loving Cup... Maybe Jack persuaed Mick to sing this one with him...

Anyone who likes the White Stripes should check out the Black Keys, the two bands have a lot of similarities. Both have just two members, a guitarist and a drummer. The Black Keys play blues influenced rock as well, just a little grungier and at times a little slower than the White Stripes.
