.........I could be somewhere in this picture too.

As I've already said, I had always felt that this was the best concert I have ever seen. I was at an afternoon show, I remember. (I notice that the ticket stub that I saved all these years is for the 8:00 show... That one was my brother's ticket. He saw both shows.)

Years later, I found out that these concerts are considered legendary by some people. I was waiting on line to buy tickets for Keith at the Beacon in the late 80s. I overheard two guys on line discussing Stones-related topics. When I heard one of them mention a bootleg that he had of the Stones in Philly in 1972, I interrupted. "Philly... 1972," I said. "At the Spectrum. I was there."
They looked at me in disbelief. "You were at the show?" one of them asked me.
"Yes, it was amazing," I said.
"Everyone knows that the Stones shows in Philadelphia in 1972 were their best shows ever," he told me.
"Well," I said, "It's the best show I've ever seen... but I didn't know that it was legendary or anything..."

It was after that encounter that I sought out the bootleg "Philadelphia Special."

LOL, that describes just about any Mick Jagger picture. He came into this world with his hands on his hips.
