I don't agree with that at all.The only live rock bands that deserve to be mentioned with the Stones are the big boys - Zeppelin and The Who but,I still give the nod to the Stones on a good night.The Stones have more material which is what makes it frustrating that they have eased up on using most of it.You should be able to (and used to be able to) see many different Stones shows on different tours which sets them apart.

It's hard to call the Dead a rock band.I'll leave it at that.

We see things differently, I have no problem with that. I would agree that Zeppelin is better live and possible The Who. All three of those british bands could be better then the other two on any given night.

To bad Bonham died, it would have been interesting to see where Led Zep go through the 80's 90's and today.

As far as The Grateful Dead, you either like them or don't, and I understand how it's hard to compare them to other bands, when actually, they are the only ones who do what they do....and what they do is hard to explain. LOL
