ok i'm travelling Tuesday and staying at the Future Inn Hotel on Cardiff Bay - The Prince Of Wales is normally a good meet up point for starters - i'm sure there will be Stones Fan get togethers at other places too.

I will certainly be there. It'll make a pleasant change for me to see the Stones and have no flights or hotels to sort out. Hasn't happened for 16 years!!

Plenty of good pubs in Cardiff city centre. And the beauty is that the Millennium Stadium is slap bang in the middle of the city, so can enjoy a few pints without getting too stressed about travelling out to the gig

Yes it is expensive - my Hotel (Twin Room with Breakfast - for free lol) cost £98 - my ticket cost £60 - I was on the Tickemaster webby as soon as trading started - I am A3 - Pitch - Row 8 Seat 17 - is that anywhere near the stage (I presume Ronnies side) - I'd appreciate anyone with greater knowledge informing me - I am aware of this FOS business so will be very far back?

But the real beauty is - I am travelling from Southend On Sea - a rail ticket to London will cost about £12 while I got a coach ticket (called Funfares) via National Express (London Victoria to Cardiff and return the next day) for wait for it: £2.00 yawning smiley)

Anyway enough of my ramblings - cya all there i hope.

Dean.

Dean thats a brilliant price for that hotel, dont tell my mrs if we happen to bump into each other, i had also good tickets for cardiff until my computer decided to crash at that precise time so settled for the cheap tickets as i am going to twickenham on the 22/8 and have got £60 in A block and at the time booked for to paris but obviously that got cancelled. I have paid loads for the hotel and no breakfast!!! you just ruined my weeekend!

>> I'd appreciate anyone with greater knowledge informing me <<

the floorplans for all the UK gigs are on the TM UK site:
just click the venue you're interested in and on the next page there's a "view a seating chart" button
where you select the Rolling Stones, et voila
