My vote is for John Entwistle

In my opinion we've a lot of good ones. Entwistle was brilliant, but don't forget Bill,John Paul Jones and at least John McVie.

This may sound stupid but I'm gonna say Bill Wyman. The guy's got groove.

john paul jones easily then Entwistle and then Roger walters and then Bill. Geezer butler is up there too.

Definitely, enequivocally, John Entwistle, the Ox.....

I've seen hundreds of bass players and he is way up front. (no offense Leonard)


I saw Jaco Pastorius. I even shot hoops with him. And I've seen Stanley Clarke....both are superb jazz bassists, but the Ox sets the high water mark for all bassists...in my opinion (I like Bill Wyman too)
