Getting a skull ring
Posted by: Lizard ()

I found this website:

And the bracelet to go along with it:

But ofcourse there's also loads of them on Ebay.

My question was: what would be the best way to go? Price-wise and looks-wise.

That one from the website looks pretty good.

Another question on the ring: Keith wears it in the way that he can see it upside up when looking at his hands, and others will see it upside down. (I mean: in case he has his hands alongside your body, like he would have most of the time, when others would meet him somewhere.
There is a picture of it, I think in the Swiss photo thread.

So, is Keith wearing the ring upside down, (he would be fully entitled to do so), or do I just don't know what upside down is, in the ancient art of wearing rings...?

Or is he wearing it in the right way from a guitar playing point of view?

Lizard, what would you do?

I'm sorry, it was on the dutch stones forum, somewhere. Misinformed you...

In this picture Keith has it upside up, in my opinion. Which means:
1. He changed it at some point
2. I did not only misinformed you on the picture, but maybe also about the way he has his ring on his finger...

Either way: sorry about the confusion... I am confused too.

If he did - he was to stoned to recognize
and if he accidently did, the photografers must have been to stoned as well...

I don't know of a shot, picturing the skull ring upside down, and it just don't feel right anyway

I've found where I thought I saw the picture. Don't know how I twisted my mind, but he is wearing it the 'right' way, not upside down in any case...

Nice pictures, especially from Mick on the catwalk, with a beautiful sky as a background.

Hope this link will make up for the confusion ... ;-)

It seems to me that Keith has started to wear the ring on another finger than he used to earlier. I`ve checked in my "According to the Stones", and the finger has definately changed. Think it`s because of his arthritis. Anyway I bought a copy of the famous ring in a small shop in "gamla stan", Stockholm, Sweden. It looks just like Keiths, and it`s sterling silver. Nice to be able to try it on before you buy. I wore it proudly at the show in Amsterdam.
