I respect this poster; enjoy and respect him a lot; just sayin...
i don't think parental controls on his laptop is necessarily a bad, or 'wrong' sort of suggestion.
I mean, I have the entire Gayteens catalogue, and frankly never even heard of this 'ding dong' thing...

These Gayteens recorded for Ray Dobard's Berkley based Music City label ...
Ding Dong was cut in the mid-50's but not released until around 2010 .... They work it hard and the guitar is filthy

Recently purchased a new Fluance RT81 turntable. Giving my half-speed mastered copy of Exile on Main St. it’s first listen on the new equipment. My vintage 80’s Sony played its last spin.

I’ll say the new turntable does make a difference and this album, which we’ve all heard a million times, is sounding just amazing. Crisp, crystal clear, no noise. The acoustic guitars sound like you’re right there in the room. Everything just pops. This is the Abbey Road version released not that long ago.

Honest? I thought you were kidding; I actually did search for that b4
my characteristically stupid remarks. Dear Rockman, leave a link please
if you have one; You've turned me on to at least half a dozen amazing
records or artists, ty and excuse me please

Something completely out of left field.......got up, did a wake and bake, and put Creatures of the Night from Kiss on the turntable. Vintage 82 LP. And one of the best they ever did (faint praise, some may say).
