Earlier today: Eric Clapton in Kyoto 1977, terrific recording, terrific performance. One of my favourite 1977-79 EC recordings....in fact only beaten by Vancouver 1978 (which I uploaded here: [www.dimeadozen.org] .....since I purchased the silver)

Any appreciaters of EC should take a visit to ZOMB to grab this Kyoto 1977 recording. It's just as dirty and laidback as the released Slowhand album....in a good way, I mean.

This evening: Springfield 1978 - Bob Dylan......ex recording.....we're waiting for the next bootleg series to consist something like this

hi Tod, no at all newly unearthed - but a fairly rare recording.....at least in my book. losslessbob rates it as "A-"........
in my opinion.....one can compare with the VERY best RS 70s recordings, soundwise......apart from Mike Millards captures, of course.

And don't believe the seeders comments......it's not "fair" at all - it's "really really good.....really really!"

The kids are playing 'Dance Central' on Kinect.

Not that I dislike the song, but I heard it so often I feel like slitting my wrists.

The Rolling Stones: Opening Night Philly '81 on Youtube; some chaotic efforts of an indisposed band, some great moments, but noticeable: the complete absence of any annoying sax player ... the line up according of MJ's introduction:

Bill Wyman, bass
Stu, Ian McLagan, keyboards
Ronnie Wood, guitar
Charlie Watts, drums
Keith Richards, guitar, vocals
Mick Jagger, vocals

When and why did they add the sax player (Earnie Watts or Gene Bardge), who butchered wide parts of the set list imo?

I crank this one by The Cult a lot actually. Ian's harmonies are nice, as is Billy's heavy riffage:
