IORR posting policy and deleted posts

If you post on IORR then please note the policy. I am not going to make endless numbers of rules, but in order to keep a certain structure and ease the reading of the forum, plus also to keep the off-topic i.e. non-Stones posts, to a minimum, please follow the idea of these simple rules:

- Do not post links without telling what is actually in the link.
A link post without explanation will be deleted.
And please do NOT post off-topic links. They are meaningless here.

- Signature etc: See the IORR help/policy page: [iorr.org]

- Keep off-topics to a minimum.
Any off-topic posts may be deleted at any time.
If the editor think off-topics are too many at the time.
IORR is mainly a Stones board.
Off-topics are allowed from time to time, when appropriate.

Thanks!

Can't you make a topic like this a.. "sticky" or something like that?

There is a link on the top of all forum pages like this:

For information about how to use this forum please check out forum help and policies.

If you use this link then you will see most of the policy info. I might add these rules above to this page, but they are really common sense, so I am not sure if more and more info on that policy page is better or worse. Most people don't read the instructions anyway.

And I am not a big fan of sticky threads. I am a fan of simplicity and common sense. If half the forum is sticky threads then they really belong to a fixed page. Remember IORR is not a forum, it is a web page. A sticky thread is really just a page that is pre-published...

It's a thread that always stays on top of the forum no matter what. It's like it's pinned there. See Shidoobee or RocksOff for sticky threads at the forum top.
