Where is Mick?
Posted by: hi1 ()
Date: May 12, 2006 16:33

Why doesn't he say anything or anybody else for that matter? Does he care about Keith's health or does he care more about the concerts being rescheduled and being pissed at Keith? We would like to know about this nerve wrecking situation!

I know he's on a holiday somewhere, he probably doesn't want anything to do with it. Let the PR people handle this one. He's probably in contact with Keith privately, though.

In the article written by the undercover reporter (posted here a few weeks ago) I believe it said he was going backpacking in the far east...

I read on IORR somewhere that he was going on holiday to Cambodia and Laos (which would have been the same time Keith was in Fiji). After that I would assume he'd go to his place in France (since it's more private then London) and probably has the top dogs over there (Michael Chol, etc) rearranging the tour, staying in touch with Keith, the other Stones and family could probably be staying there, etc. I'm sure the press would love to talk to him so staying in the French countryside protects him from them much better then his place in London (if you saw it in the "Being Mick" DVD you saw how isolated it is) - this is my theory anyway...

Mick has been seen digging a hole, while humming "I've been working on my solo tour"

He's probably in Toronto with Cohl trying to rebook venues and counting how much money they are losing each day.

Micks silence says a lot about the chances of this tour taking place IMHO.

It's pretty amazing that no one seems to have been spotted anywhere. Not Mick, Ronnie, Charlie, Mr Cohl, Bernard, Lisa, Blondie, Bobbie, etc. If they were spotted, I'm sure someone would ask them about the whole situation. Especially Ronnie, since he was on the island in Fiji. Of course they wouldn't probably have any response to questions, but it seems so odd that no one has reported that any of these folks have been spotted doing anything.

How can they all disappear like that?

Well, I can't say I'm impressed, but - it's seems freaky to me, and might be a getting pretty freaky for them as well.

It all smacks of Toronto circa 1977 to me (forgive the pun)

Mick's a good guy. I'm sure he cares about Keith and has gone to see him, he just chooses to not make a big deal about it. I'm sure if Mick were to hold a press conference on it, it would bring more attention to Keith and I'm sure Keith doens't want that, or his family. Also, if something were to have happened to Mick, would Keith have been the one to make the statement? I hightly doubt that. Ronnie and even Charlie would before Keith. Keith's not even nice enough to introduce Mick on stage during the intros.

The was a photo posted on the Pollstaronline (pay site) of Cole hanging out with David Gilmour 3 weeks ago after the Gibson Ampitheater show in LA.

1. He is pissed.

2. He is really pissed.

3. He is thinking of Keith and wishes him the best.

4. He is even more pissed, because no one really knows
if this tour is gonna take place at the moment. So
rearranging only makes sense if they have the exact
date when Keith can travel and perform/work for 2 hours.

I'd go with the guess that Mick is in France, that place is very isolated. Last fall when the album came out I was in the area and the local newspaper said where it was. My friend and I found it, but all you can see is the gate and a little bit of the yard.

As implied, when the Stones want to keep something under wraps they manage to do so pretty effectively. Did any of us know about Charlie's heroin/speed habit before the '90s, when Nick Kent wrote about it and Charlie discussed it on '60 Minutes'? Just as we've never heard any boots from the Stu memorial show fom '86. The band or the organization has been dealing with crises for over 40 years now, & has a lot more practice than most celebs do.

He is probably doing what he has done since the 70's when Keith was on heroin, He's on his cell phone handling the band's business affairs and coming up with contingency plans.

Cali stones fan, cool shots, I agree with you, if you see the DVD "Being Mick" it has this place in it a lot and it's just the most logical place to stay if you don't want the press buggin' you. Gigantic amount of land and plenty of rooms. I wouldn't doubt if the other 2 Stones are there as well as Michael Cohl and a few other essential people figuring out how to reschedule the tour . They would never have to leave the property. Perfect spot to keep a low profile...

I have to agree...don't you remember how great he and Marianne were when Brian died! They dropped everything while on location filming in australia just so he could be at the funeral Almost got the film scrapped--marianne was sacked from the film, in fact, just for attending the funeral!

Send flowers, c'mon that would be so rude!

Keith did't die. I think the space right now is a good thing. Plenty of time to pull the hachet out later.

Everyone is UNDERCOVER to avoid answering questions because there are no answers and anything said now that is not certain can be later called a lie. so better not to talk about it.
