I'm the first to mention this one it seems (number1 that is):
-Sleep Tonight
-Hate It When You Leave
-Coming Down Again

...I see I only mentioned ballads, but I'm no softboy.

Well in that case please enjoy a lazy afternoon too.
Quarter past eleven here, not much; but we have had our first hot day this year. Not hot with LA measurements; yet some good 20 degrees C.
Spain or Greece may not have much warmer.
Like a guest-play in Florida or Calif.
"I am tired, I am weary.
I could sleep for a thousand years... " See ya! Now: zzzz, for real...

Ever heard Bobby D's version of this from the True Confessions tour with Petty?

Also - let us not forget Keith & Bobby Keys' "Over the Rainbow" - great, late-night listening stuff....

I have, it's really something.
I also like his version of Dancing In The Dark, even though it's not the same issue, and he's having a ball on that one.

No I haven't. I've only heard the Keith & Willie version.

Do you have it that you could upload?

that was on an obscure set of '89 rehearsals with a bunch of known musicians...not his best stuff, but occasionally interesting. In general, the 80's weren't good for my heroes....

...but this was Toads Place 1990....but it has a Knebworth 76-feeling,
I wouldn't give the recording to my son, but I enjoy it myself
(ps I don't have a son)

(It takes some time before I answer posts, I'm sorry, but I got Hard To Handle running in the floor above...)

Right...I forgot he did that at the Toad's show (longest show ever by Bob, btw). Actually, it's a great recording that I have of that one....

Has anyone mentioned "Somewhere over the Rainbow" yet? Beautiful.
