This is yesterday news and they sounded quite OK. But today The Sun is still saying about Keith's surgery and according to some TV news he is still in New Zealand hospital....

this guy is from the Chicago Tribune and he spoke directly with Fran Curtis, thats good enough for me...do you really think if the Sun article yesteday was true it would not be all over the place by now, like CNN, etc??? When the rumors started flying Fri a.m. there was no confirmation until around 24 hours later 9am Saturday when it was on CNN, the Sun story is over 24 hours old now...

this is good enough for me, on with the TOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

because there is NOTHING to pick up...he had a mild concussion and they released him from the hospital Tuesday a.m. and thats it.. this isnt an article this is from this guys blog, he works for the Tribune, to me the Chicago Tribune is alot more reliable than the Sun which is a tabloid RAG

it's not a question of what we WANT to believe - we're all united there. it's a question of having a critical eye/ear for credibility.

I have to agree with this. Usually where there's smoke, there's fire. These types of trash magazines write this stuff because it's risky in the sense that there is no "official source". Therefore, reputable newspapers won't print them until it can be verified. It doesn't mean that it's not true, just that it's not officially confirmed.

Believe me, I would love to find out that your Chicago guy is right. And hopefully, if that happens soon, I will owe you a big apology.

The Sun is a RAG, and Fran Curtis is a PUBLICIST, so for now I feel I know little for sure except that an incident occured in Fiji, and Keith is being treated.

We all want to believe Keith is ok, but the continual official silence, can only worry us fans.

The only, recent, source of information, is from The Sun newspaper.
A newspaper, which, although, looked down upon and sneered at, by many, has a history of breaking big showbiz exclusives, that, in the majority of cases, turn out to be accurate.

Also, while Fran Curtis may be talking to K's manager (is it still Jane Rose?) the Sun may have a leaker from the hospital or elsewhere.

Isn't Fran Curtis, the Stones publicist, an official source?

and did I read that it was also posted on RS.com, the official Stones website...

HEY--don't put too much stock in the "Sun" story, re: Keith! I think it was that paper that printed lies in the 1980s, etc, etc that Roger Daltrey was to replace Mick Jagger, bla-bla...we all know that tabloids don't win prizes in journalism....

Personally, I wouldn't worry unless bad news came from the Stones office, or CNN, Reuters, etc......in fact, as we've seen, they have only *GOOD NEWS* (Keith "OK") recently!

Keith is a tough old bastard....he'll be fine! Don't worry

It's gonna be Keith and Keith only.Better cancel the tour.I am not gonna see a show where Keith is replaced.Give me a break.If Mick had the same accident would they replace him?I don't think so.

It's either Keith or no show. With the reports of him having a haemorrhage in his brain, I am not sure if he will be ready.
