Front and center in Buffalo Aug '75 Rich Stadium. The crush from behind was scary but worth the soaking I got from one of the buckets of water Jagger threw into the crowd. Unbelievable.... Also front row Keef's side in Syracuse '97...got a pick! Almost knocked over a girl in a wheeelchair to get it! Felt bad about it...for about a minute! She was gracious

wtf is the matter with that country. I went there on business, hotels and food are fantastic, and everyone you meet is so gentle, so kind and gracious. Then you go out on the streets, and people are watching kick-boxing and going to 5-story whorehouses where 80% of the girls are HIV-positive. wtf

The pisser about the last and current tours is that all the UK shows are all allocated seating. The days of getting on the front row by turning up at 6am and sitting at the turnstile all day are gone I'm afraid.
It's a great shame. The folks at the front were those who deserved to be there...not those who could afford It !

Spud - those days have been over for stadium and arena shows in the US since the Who's Riverfront debacle a quarter century ago....

yeah but in Europe this ONLY applies to the UK shows - and there was no legal reason for requiring the shows to be all seated either.

Front rows are cheaper up to row 10 in the uk.
So not to do with money more luck than anything.

But yes I agree the pitch should all be standing do not like idea of seating in Front of Stage area.

By the way Glasgow SECC was standing on floor last tour.

1st night Was in the seats actually spent most of it in the aisle dancing only told to get back to my place when they came to the B Stage.

2nd Night we were on the floor FOS Keiths Side ,it was tight but far better than seated any day.

I was in the front row in Oslo, Helsinki, and Stockholm in the B2B tour and in the right in front of the B-stage in Moncton this summer. I wouldn't say they look "ordinary and frail" close up, but it is definitely the case that you get a much better sense of how old they are.

I didn't get the balls, just the brains, left chest, heart. He must switch it up sometimes.

And you can touch me when you turn 21.

Never set front row for the Stones but I have set front row center stage @ MSG for Clapton in the past.
