Twicks Seating?

Am going to both shows with my girl. We both have lower spine problems. If you were at Twicks 2003, were there any seating on the pitch. Many thanks.

Thanks Nikkibong. Do you know where you got your confirmation from?

There were only seats on the pitch during the Twickeham shows in 2003.
The pitch will be all seated during the upcoming Bigger Bang shows at Twickenham as well.

Ticketmaster, rs.com - the usual culprits. that's how the tickets were sold (and priced): as reserved pitch seating, with section/row/seat numbers and all.
of course, they were sold for a different venue, but there's no way they'd switch to GA just because they're changing stadiums.

Jagger50:

Just be aware that if you actually attempt to use your seats at Twickers, you run the risk of being mowed down via rifle fire by Gazza. The actual risk is mitigated, however, because in the shape I expect him to be in during the shows, his aim won't be very true...which then causes a much higher risk for those around you.

I stand nearly all the time during a Stones show. But it's nice to sit down when needed, while waiting etc. And to avoid Gazza's line of fire. So if he misses us we get a better view by mowwing down others.

I know it's a while yet but does anyone from IORR want to meet up for a drink before the Twicks show? Cheers Tod.

there will be pre- and post-show parties aplenty, J50...hang tight and you'll be reading much more about them in the weeks to come....

OK, it would be a great opputtunity to meet some people heavily into the same thing. I live in London so if anyone wants any travel advice please ask. A good pick up point is Tesco supermarket. Also good for sandwiches etc for a quarter of the price. Also beer, not cold and spirits.

There were chairs all over the pitch/field in Twickenham during the LICKS tour like they will have now at all UK shows but if you have a back problem then please note that people stand up during the entire show so that if you sit down then you will not see much.

Yeah, but unless you're right up front the pictures are worthless. I have a pretty nice phone and all you really get is blurred lights, the people around me all got the same.

I noticed quite a few people with cameras inside the arena though. So if you don't have a nice one you wouldn't mind losing, then go for it. I've never had a problem getting cameras in.

Thanks, but sometimes I need to sit. Even if only for 2 mins. But I'm sure it's going to be great. At least Wembley's builders can't interfere.

Good point. That's why I usually bring in a four-camera film crew.

I haven't checked the distances between stadiums, but are we sure if the Wembley arch falls over it won't crush Twickers? Just wondering....

I was in London, Saturday. The arch was still standing. But you never know! Maybe it was an illusion.
