I like it. I don't sigh when I hear it live, unlike when I hear Honky Tonk Women, Happy and Miss You. It's a good song. I love the version off the London concert on Four Flicks.

It's not great, but not as bad as Tod & A make it out to be. However, it doesn't work that great live anymore 'cuz Mick can't hit the low notes on 'now.'

The two main problems with it are that it is way the hell too perfunctory & it has been played way too much.Anything else from Voodoo Lounge would be a better idea to be included in any & all future shows.I vote for I Go Wild.

Let me get this straight, you like it more than the songs you mention or would rather hear this live than those???

I think the song sucks live. It seems that its just an easy sing-along kind of song where Mick can rely on backing singers and not have to give much effort. Doesn't help that they play a song like this at almost every show. There are so many better songs this can be replaced with.

I can't believe it's still in the sets when Mick can brag about them having 400 to choose from.

I like Keith's 10 minute version though.

ROFL!!! Okay then, I'll say that hearing it live isn't as good as the studio version. That better T&A? Or are you still sold that it's "shite"? lol

What's not to like? It's got a nice riff, some typical Keef-riffing, very nice lyrics and great solo's from both weavers. Oh yeah, nice drumming too. Oh YEAH, and some hella cool bass riffs TOO.

I use this song as a "testing exhibit" to ferret out Stones fans who are so blind (deaf?) that they refuse to admit that a song that the Stones perform that does rock (I'll give it that) actually sucks, which it does. It's possible to "rock" and "suck" in the same time and place and YGMR is the proof. It's a song with no heart, guts, soul or wisdom. It just plain blows. My hope is that I keep the "flame alive" on my hatred of this drivel to the point where all of you "infidels" are at least partially bothered next time you try to enjoy it.

it's 1 of 3 songs on Voodoo Lounge I always skip...........can't stand the song.....and not just because it's mediocre at best............and I don't understand why the Stones continue to push it concert.........there are so many other options......

No it isnt its about a rocker who cant reach it and than find this damm fine hell of a girl!!who got him rocking..my kind of song!!!

I'm glad I could do some good today T&A.....for me YGMR sounds like something that a cheesy band like Bon Jovi would write.........it just cheapens the Stones catalogue..........from my perspective anyway
