in San Franicsco Weve set a recrod for march. 25 days of rain. Today is April 1 and theres No end in sight. It hasnt bothered me until the last couple of days. its a good vera good songgee. in books these songs are always decribed as a "rare showing of vunerablility" from. the stones. , how can it be rare when they've done it so many times?

You better get the Keith Richards outtake of Almost Hear You Sigh from Talk Is Cheep sessions 1988.
That's a real heart-breaking version, together with "Breakin'".
These 2 songs are some of the best I know of, from the last 20 years.

Is the official Talk is cheep good?

Yes Almost Hear You Sigh is indeed outstanding. One of my favourite ballads. It's one of those songs which fits better in the Taylor area.
Keiths outtake version from Talk is Cheap shows how a song like this develops. It became a diamond when The Glimmer Twins reunited.
They only played it live duriing the 1989-1990 tour on several occassions. The Barcelona 1990 live version is soundwise one of the best.
