FYI, StonesTod said he didn't think Blondie tour with "The Band." Blondie Chaplin Joined them in 1986 after Richard Manuel's death. He sang Richard Manuel's Vocal parts and doubled on guitar and drums. In 1988 he was a part of the line-up on the Australia tour that only featured Danko and Garth Hudson from the orginal "Band." Rick Danko was a superb bassist and had a beautiful voice check out his and Richard Manuels'solo CDs . You can find them at www.OPM66.com.

Like I said - Blondie played with them. Twice, as I recall.

You said that you don't think he played with the Band per se(your words) that you saw him with Danko/ Butterfield in '79 Well, we are splitting hairs here. How was the Danko/Butterfield show? I was not aware that the two of them toured together. I miss The Band!

Yeah, maroon with a white vinyl top. A real pimp car. Pretty funny and cool! Especially since my cuz is a sho-nuff redneck fron GA.
