Living in Louisville - do you follow U of L or Kentucky basketball? It's getting to the good time of year for college hoops, March Madness, you know.

Not as much as I used to, I'm more into the pros, mostly the Heat and the Kings. I still follow Louisville and Kentucky to a certain extent and unfortunately neither are very good this year!

Down my way, basketball season is a space filler until spring football practice. How 'Bout Them Dawgs! Georgia!

Elmo, up here in Charlotte its crazy for hoops! the Duke vs UNC Chapel Hill rivalry is like UGA vs Clemson, in football...
no. 1 Duke inspires hatred around here...its weird. most people in Charlotte don't like Duke, and love UNC. I heard its because a lot of yankees go to Duke. ;-)) !!
personally I like watching Duke play, they are a great team.

Yeah, Dillard, you're in the hotbed of college hoops. Saw where the No. 2 Carolina girls beat Duke's No. 1 ladies. I admire Coach K, but don't really like him. I guess Roy W. is well-loved at UNC.

yeah they love Roy Williams! he is the new Dean Smith. my son plays in a Y basketball league, and before one of their games a Duke game was on TV. clearly, among the kids watching this game, it was not cool to like Duke, particularly JJ Redick. funny. Redick is great.

Hey Koen...I live in Boone. Grew up in Raleigh. My girlfriend is a big Duke fan, which pretty much makes me a Duke fan (does anyone recognize that line from Pulp Fiction, only instead of "Duke fan" it was "vegetarian"?)

"Me, I can't usually eat 'em (hamburgers) 'cause my girlfriends a vegetarian. Which pretty much makes me a vegetarian, but I sure love the taste of a good burger."

Ok, Lukester, you know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in France? smiling smiley

Ah, Pulp Fiction, only my favorite movie of all time. I'm so sick of people saying "but it's so VIOLENT!" Yeah, it is, but the thing most people miss is that the characters in the film who turn away from the path of violence are the ones who live, and the ones who continue down the path of violence are the ones destroyed by it. There's a lot of layers of meaning in that film, I could go on all day. But I won't.

Ohno...Pulp Fiction is without doubt my all time favorite movie. Yes, very layered. Reservoir Dogs was a good stepping stone for this cinematic masterpiece.

"It would have to be one motherf***ing charming pig...ten times more charming than that Arnold on Green Acres."

I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner.

Hey, am I the only one who tries to adjust the vertical hold on the TV set when you see a close up of Duke's Sheldon Williams?

You'a smart motherfuvker, that's right. The metric system. (He points to a fast food drink cup.) What's in this?

"N...n..no, go right ahead."

"Listen, I want you and Mr. Marcelas to know we had the best of intentions. If I could just say how very sorry we are that things got so screwed up. Listen, I didn't get your name, I know your name is Vincent, but what is your name?"

Rooster: Yes.

Then why don't you tell my boy Lukester here, where you got the shit hid?

Ok, this is getting redundant. If you want the rest of the story, rent the movie or go here: [www.godamongdirectors.com]

Do a text search for "vegetarian" and it'll take you right to it. Happy reading!

What was this thread about? College basketball? Oh yeah. Go Cards, whatever.
