Too many connections: select * from iorr_settings

I understand what "Too many connections:" means what do they mean with
"select * from iorr_settings"

Can I select an * in the IORR settings ? and If where can I find this.

i've been getting this a lot too - i assume it means that too many people are online and there's some overload

That's an sql error - from the database software that runs the forum. Looks like there are too many people trying to access the forum all at once.

Probably it's a setting that only can be change by the administrator of the site.

Usually, logging off and re-booting will fix this.

I usually get this message around 1am (midnight at "forum time")
That's probably when most people connect...

I can't find the "setting" either NICOS, probably an administator function, like you said.

Maybe BV can answer this, maybe he can change the setting, so more people can be connected the same time.

You needn't Re-boot.
Well - it won't harm, but it's useless.
Look at it this way:
you drive up to a parking lot, just to find out that it is fully occupied.
off course you can drive home and check back later - or, you wait at the gate till someone moves out.

logging off is ok, also emptying your browser cache and deleting your cookies.
*mark all messages as read could work - if only you could get to it.^^

maybe bv can say something about that
