I saw Farenheit 9/11, too. I thought it was a great movie, yet disturbing. I was more angered by that movie than Easy Rider when Jack Nicholson got killed.

I too have friends who dismiss the movie as fiction. They say Michael Moore has an agenda. To which I say, duh, but it's a good agenda. One that all Americans should embrace, in my opinion.

It is not a documentary. It is not factual. It is purely entertainment-driven PROPAGANDA. Even friends of mine who dislike Bush admit that Moore simply shows footage of various things and just spends time commenting on what you see on screen. Its not fact, its his opinion. Whats scary is that so many people actually believe its 'the truth', but people will believe what they want to believe, especially those who despise Bush.

EXAMPLE OF WHY THE 'MOVIE' IS BULLSHIT: There's a scene which shows soldiers in Iraq arresting a group of shoplifters who were driving around town stealing from various shops. They were using a taxi cab to store their loot. This was at the height of the war, so in order to stop the looters they run over the taxi with a tank. This is GREAT! Crush their transportation and they'll have to lug TVs on their backs. Mr. Moore doesnt seem to notice the fact that looters had been stopped OR that the looters were allowed to go home to their families instead of being incarcerated with violent terrorist criminals. If you've seen the movie you should be able to recall what Moore found so horrible about this... One of the looters was a cab driver, and the US army crushed his ride. The taxi was his job and his only source of income. Well guess what... those shops all around town with busted windows and stolen merchadise, yeah THOSE WERE OTHER PEOPLES JOBS TOO!!!

If you hate Bush you already have your mind set. You wont be openminded to hear anything else and you will likely lump me and anyone else who disagrees with you into one big conservative catagory. The truth is I'm a critical thinker and cant stand half-assed facts being presented as the truth. Ive lived through a dictator and I've seen the country recover after he was ousted. Just watch... History books will look much kinder on Bush than you or any lib/dems will simply because he instituted freedom in a seriously desprived nation.
