it surprised me recently when i was brooding over the Stones' way-early set lists that their repertoire apparently didn't include Little Queenie until 69. so that one would depend on what one means by "pre-68 song" ...
i would count anything they played prior to 68, whether they released it or not. but it's not up to me. or is it?? but if Little Queenie counts because it was written before 68, then we can add Love in Vain too.
"It's All Over Now"......live at the L.A. Forum 1/18/73 (Nicaraguan earthquake benefit show)........and live in Honolulu, Hawaii 1/21/73 (both shows) & 1/22/73 (Mick Taylor's last u.s.a. performance as a Stone)
And they did It's All Over Now in 4/4 in Honolulu, not with the original swing beat. It sounded weird and, for me, not all that great. Keith's guitar sounded fine, however.
