If it happens it will be the gig of the tour

Man I hope for you lucky bastard New Yorkers that they play the rumoured Radio City Hall show.
Greatest venue on Earth with our boys on stage - having a few beers - heaven.

They'd mix up the set bigtime too cos, well it's NYC and it's a small (by Stones standards) venue.

I'm crushed I can't go to my 2nd fave city to my fave venue to see my fave band.
But I'll live.
Just.

Have you ever lent somebody $20 and never seen them again? It was probably worth it.

they wont mix the set up at all because its effectively a corporate charity gig and those prices are for the most part beyond the reach of the vast majority of Stones fans

when they play a corporate or private gig for the rich and famous its invariably a 'greatest hits' show with nothing out of the ordinary. Check out the Hawaii Pepsi gig in '98 or the gig in Vegas in 2002 that they did for that billionaire who paid them $10 million for the night.

Its not a theatre show as we know it and sure as hell theyre not going to dig out something unusual and untried for that audience

Lovely venue though, I agree, and it'd be great to get a ticket for it. Good luck to anyone who's going. There still seems to be availability.

I did'nt realise it was a corporate gig.

The tix - given the venue and that it's smack bang in the middle of Manhatten will probably be 20 grand a pop.

Anyways, different set or not I'd still love to see it.

Esky - bank robbery before the Stones nite on Friday - then book tix for NYC and Radio City Hall.

well..I know a few fans who are going too and are paying thousands for the privilege - but some tickets are as 'little' as $250, so I guess thats affordable for some..I think you have to order 6, though.

In my humble opinion, the Radio City Music Hall is barn. I saw the Go-go's there once. What's the big deal.

not specifically, but it may as well be. Tickets arent on sale to the general public, and vary from $250 to $7,500

cant see scalpers making much of a killing at tickets that are already so expensive! maybe at the cheaper end!

At this point the 250.00 and 500.00 seats are just about gone. It will be an awesome show, but expect the warhorses. You can but up to 6 seats, but can buy just 1 if you like.

Is it already confirmed that the stones are performing?!
Would be very cool!

You must like the Robin Hood organisation a lot to buy ticks for that price if you still don't the act.

Cheers,
Wuudy

Well glad it's a Barn for yoy Grumblebum but to answer your q:

the acoustics are outstanding, it's real easy to nip out for a leak or another beer/wine, it's designed so there isn't a bad seat in the house, it's interior is lovely and it's a couple feet down the road from Times Sq so if you wanna party on afterwards there's a crapload happening.

Go have a ball square dancing on the plains of Wyoming with prarie dogs if you prefer, I just happen to like RCH as a venue.

For those that can get there - if you can grab any ticket for $250 you're laughing.

Still I do not get the point how to get the tickets.
Except for Ticketsnow where you find now 3rd mezzanine for 580 USD

Sheryl Crow is also on the bill. She will play at least 45 minutes. My guess is the Stones will play 12 songs for 75 minutes.

Didn't Pete Townshend and Roger Daltry play the same gig last year? And before anybody says it's different for the Stones, if any one plays longer than 75 minutes for these types of bigwigs they get bored to tears.
