Superbowl- "Rough Start", good recovery

I thought their Superbowl performance started a litted choppy, but they recovered well. I was a little disappointed in Start Me Up. I thought the mix was off a little and so were they. But I can understand why. It seems like they shortened up the song so they could get everything in within 12 minutes. Ronnie's guitar solos during SMU were cut. They have played this song so many times together, to then change it, and do it differently for the first time in front of 20 million people must not be easy. I do like when this song is raw though.

Rough Justice and Satisfaction both rocked. They finished strong with those two. Personally though, Satisfaction didn't have to go that long at the expense of Start Me Up. I would have rather seen Satisfaction not drag on as much at the end, and instead have Ronnie's solos in Start Me Up. It kind of makes the song. All and all, a good performance.

I heard Ronnie's soloing... and saw it too, for that matter...

As long as they recovered well, I'm satisfied.
