OK, but the absolute funniest thing to come our way this last year was R. Kelly's "In the Closet" deal. Everything about it. First there is the hilarious "tune". No, wait - it's a Rap-Opera! LOL Thne his performance of it at one of the major award shows where he lipsynched it. One of the funniest things I have ever seen. THEN he released a DVD with "commentary" LOL. He is perched in front of the video screen of him performiung it, giving a running commentary, "explaining what is heppening Hahah! The worda er already the most boring mundane account of back and forth, up and down, and then he sits there and further elaboartes on them. "I went over to the telephone, and I punch in the number; no wait since the number is already programmed in there I just pushed ONE button". CommentARY" "ok, HERE i AM TRYING TO RECH HER ON THE CELLPHONE. nOW, SINCE i HAVE BEEN THINKING AHEAD i STORED HER NUMBER IN MY CELL. dAS HOC COME i CAN JUST PUSH ONE SINGLE BUTTON"
"...no longer shall you trudge 'cross my peaceful mind."
Don't know if it's been mentioned but We Built This City by Jefferson Airplane/Starship/Whatever kind of aircraft they are now. Awful song AND video imo! Yeeeeeessshhhh!
The Stones have produced some real crap, no doubt, but I'd still rather listen to their crap than 99% of the material that other people put out. Any day, any time.
#......Go ahead....Bite the Big Apple....Don't mind the Maggots.....Uh Huh...#

Ok I cant let this go. Overdose by ACDC is a total masterpiece. Im guessing you dont know your arse from your elbow my friend. Bon Scott was a genius. The opening lyric: "I never smoked me no cigarettes I never drank much booze But Im only a man, dontcha understand And a man can sometimes lose"
Street poetry plus Angus best ever solo - what more do you want!!!
Jason (stones89) may defend himself; but I think he did pick songs by artists & groups he loves & respects that are not levellin up to their standard...
Wishful Sinful by the Doors is a Robbie Krieger-song; personally I have much harder dealin with Runnin Blue.

Furthermore, I myself am an AC/DC fan. What you have to remember is that this is all OPINION. I would say that Overdose is one of the few AC/DC songs that I don't like. The rest of their catalogue is quite good. Quite simply, you like it and I don't. Nothing more, nothing less. But I do agree with you that Bon Scott was a genius. His lyrics were pretty damn good IMO.

Hey, no problem letitloose. It's cool. I'll give Overdose a few more listens. It was always one of the few songs that I wasn't too keen on when I listened to the Let There Be Rock album. But hey, it may grown on me, ya never know.
