Hey, read the Superbowl Story posted by Buddha66. We need 18 more people.

Thanks! Could be very cool.

My brother and I are in!

Basically, once we gather a group of 20 people, we can sign up to see the Halftime show and be part of the "audience".

Now we need 17 more.

Spread the word.

I live in Ann Arbor, 40 miles from Detroit. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted, and my wife is only 40, well under the age limit, but I just don't know what we'd be getting ourselves into. Today in the Free Press, although they said they were looking for "informal" groups of "everyday people" they very strongly hinted that what they are really looking for is dance squads, cheerleaders, and marching bands. In other words, 18-21 year olds who are unnaturally PERKY. I think they want it to be like the old "Up With People" halftime shows from the '60s. You can't really blame them. They don't want a bunch of fat old @#$%& standing there with their hands in their pockets. And you have to go to a full week's worth of rehearsals. (Rehearsals?)

I am willing to bet anything that the actual performance will be lip synched, but I could be wrong.

No way they will lip synch the half-time show. Mick has sung in every

football stadium in the USA over the last 30 years. Do you think he'll be too

nervous? If he was to lip-synch they would have to pre-record the entire show!

Can you imagine Keith and Ron trying to keep in step w/ a track? Any Stones fan

knows that too many things can go wrong on any particular song for the boys to

ever try faking it.

Count Crossfire in! I'd make the 5 hour drive (hell, I'd take the week off even for the rehearsals!). Of course my wife will consider divorce I'm sure!

If you are coming in from out of town you would have to spend a WEEK in DETROIT in FEBRUARY in order to attend FIVE mandatory rehearsals. Are you guys shitting me??? 35 HOURS or REHEARSALS to see them play for 12 MINUTES??? You would have to be the biggest dupes for that idiot that I can ever see!

OH MAN! I can't go for five days. That's the stupidest thing I ever heard. What does an audience have to do for rehearsals that would take 5 days?

Sorry guys, I know I started this, but I thought it was just going to be a weekend. I'd miss my little boy too much being gone for that long.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

as a general rule, wives consider divorce during all Stones tours....

maybe it takes that long to rehearse removing someones clothes so well that when it happens on the night it genuinely looks like a wardrobe malfunction

Ha! Ya good point!

Or they need the extra time to make sure everyone's nipples are properly pierced. I wonder who the lucky roadie will be for that one.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.
