I was at this show, had a Standing Room Only ticket which meant that you could roam the venue at will until you found a place to groove. The place is a smalltown hockey arena, very smoky that night.

I saw the second show, it was evident (from the bootleg it is very clear) that the boys had been partying between shows. Some very sloppy playing yet at times they hit the nail on the head and sounded just great.

Charlie was definitely there. So was Bill.

As for the blind people, I recall that there was an allotment of tickets for the blind but I can't remember just how many were set aside. Not lots, maybe a couple of hundred per show.

I still have the ticket stub...it's not with me right now but I think the cost was $10. Or somewhere around there.

What I do know is that ,there was a blind girl that followed the stones in 78 and met Wyman. And Wyman gave her a free ticket cause she been robbed,is she still alive?

I think it was Keith who gave out the blind girl's tickets.

Her name is Rita, and yes she is still alive...

I spent the day after the gig with she and her sister...

Rita is from Montreal, and was attending lots of the Stones' Canadian shows, and Keith went out of his way to make sure she had transportation
(which doesn't mean Bill never gave her a ticket - maybe he did).
she's of course the one who famously inspired the judge in Keith's case to come up with the sentence he came up with.
Keith still regularly dedicates songs to her when he plays Montreal. hail hail to Rita, for sure.

"What do you want - what?!"
