The Rolling Stones' Press Conferences

There seems to be, usually, a few comical moments, at least from 1989 onward, during their press conferences announcing a tour, and having just seen this one, I thought, it's time for its own thread.

I was going to call it Whut Do You Mean? but that might be a bit vague.

so whay are the rules?

does it have to be press conferences from 89 onward and do they have to be for announcing a tour?

because this one from zurich in 1967 has some funny moments

starts about 2:22

This was hilarious.

Also is it true that there was no accusations of them sleeping with other women during the tour?

2003 Germany press conference had some funny moments. Below is a link to a lot of Rolling Stones footage from ABC News.

After the signup, search Rolling Stones.

The 1964 "ROLLING STONES AT KENNEDY AIRPORT. VS SCREAMING GIRLS" had a funny moment where the Rolling Stones started stomping the floor.

I don't know how to the capture the footage.

Great subject. Licks was probably my favorite because of the Blimp. Wonder what happened to the little one they flew around in arenas before the concert. If I had it everyone would know because I would fly it often. The balloon type has hung in my Voodoo Lounge since the tour.

No, my comment was strictly about how they were comical at the 1989 one and have been since compared to any previously. Not that any didn't have funny moments but Mick is the devil while Keith and Ronnie say just ridiculous things.

So, any press conference.

I appreciate him saying very clearly that it's not the final tour and that there is no plans to split the band. Clear and consise.

The intro with the buzzing audio sounded like something out of a horror movie

Skip ahead to 5:54 or so.

1989 HI!!!!

The shade thrown at The Who is great...

Ronnie's "This is what you call a sample" and the playing of Mixed Emotions. "It's got a nice beat to it!"

The question of spending $20 in a club - Mick: It's not twenty bucks in a club.

That's probably my all time favorite moment.

1989 and people complaining about tickets being $28!!!

Man they were so tired of the "is this your last tour" questions already!

The best "Is this your last tour?" response!

Rocky mentioned Might As Well Get Juiced, some other version (mix?) at this press conference but I've never figured out what he was talking about. Keith has a radio blaring during the ride.
