(Mick Taylor participating i)s a rumor, babe. If he was on there, I would know. We've had no contact with Mick for a long time.

I’ve put Mick Taylor on Plundered My Soul, because he wasn’t on it. I wasn’t on it, he wasn’t on it, so obviously we were driving to the studio when that was done (laughs)... (I)t was very nice, it was just like the old days, you know, I just sat Mick down and we did it like half an hour...

Still find it a bit odd that Jagger didn't get Taylor to record on the TATTOO YOU extras. Although, really, Living In The Heart Of Love is pedestrian.

When Keith was a big drug user he was, most of the time, what folks call a "functional addict" ...
..but he never had much sympathy or empathy if inconvenienced by other addicts around him who were perhaps less "functional"

Keith Richards likes to insult his colleagues. Of course Taylor's behaviour might have become problematic, due to his substance abuse, as Glyn johns pointed out. Taylor joined the Stones at the age of twenty - the other members were at least five years older. At this point in life five years play a role. Taylor was too young, and his career never developed, because of his drug problems. Yet he has a lot of merits. Would the Stones's legacy be poorer without Sway, Moonlight Mile, Ventilator Blues, Winter, A hundred years ago and Time waits for no one? I would like to say yes.

Really you think without those songs their legacy wouldn't be the same. I love those songs but most of the people that go see them today wouldn't even know them.

I liked that tune [PMS] a lot when it was released. I still do, when I'm drinking a bottle of wine. Reminds me of the good old days. Taylor's sound and playing is not what it used to be. The intro is great though.

I like Plundered My Soul too, great song. But I do know a decent amount of bootlegs and outtakes, but I never heard an outtake what did remind me to Plundered My Soul. Do you know an outtake what led to this this song? Or does anyone knows? To me this one came as a big surprise when it came out official.
Still like it better than most of A Bigger Bang. But it’s not a classic.Quote

As far as I can hear it, it's a short piece of jamming, played by Keith, Charlie and Bill. Jagger(?) did a great job by looping it, probably messing with protools or whatever, adding a chorus and hence created an entire song out of it. Taylor signed for the beautiful slide intro.
A leftover in the fridge coming alive just like Frankenstein.
