Much to my surprise Robert Hunter’s ‘Tales Of The Great Rum Runners’ has been rereleased for a 50th Anniversary Deluxe edition w/ Bonus Tracks.

It’s a great album but I never thought he’d get a 50 year anniversary release!
He’s such an under the radar artist.

I don’t know if anyone enjoys his music as much as I do, but if you didn’t know now you do.

I have an original and I have been going back-and-forth on whether to get the reissue for the bonus tracks.
I'll probably get it eventually.

The sound is amazing. I’ve always felt the original sounded muddled. I ordered all of Hunter’s CD’s thru/ Relix in the late 90’s.

According to a recent article all of his work will be rereleased at some point.
