Haven't seen this posted so... some nice things in this, one obvious moment "grabbed" from the video for 25X5.

When I first watched it I thought the supper scene was after a show on the tour!

Video unavailable? I'm watching it right now!!!

Tribuna Stone. "ROLLING STONES - STEEL WHEELS 1989"

Weird how long it took them to get Mixed Emotions together.

it's not unavailable the video is set by the poster to not be playable on other sites other then youtube

it's weird i ran into this problem with this video when i tried to post it here

i've never seen this particular restriction before and it's not something that he applied to the voodoo lounge video he also posted on his channel

I came across the VOODOO overdub one first (two nights ago) and then STEEL WHEELS but found the SW one more compelling.

The VL one with the Keith song (It's Funny) with the falling piano melody and the sax... the liveness aside, a magnificent song. Have always loved that tune, those VOODOO boots back in 1995, BREW, etc.

Kinda seems like the don't pay much attention during those overdub sessions, huh.

I don't know how the hell anyone understood anything during the entire Mixed Emotions session. And, ha ha, it shows how patient Mick is!

yes keith seemed a little unfocused at times to put it mildly

but i wonder how much of that was related to the presence of the cameras

then again aren't these the sessions where he supposedly threatened somebody with a knife for offering an idea on a song they were working on

gotta pity mick keith seemed like a lot to handle at the timewinking smiley

I vaguely recall reading that a few years back and figured it was bunk but it's the same guy that said Charlie punched Mick in Amsterdam when... that never happened.

Well to add credence to that story (don't recall the details now ?) we do get to see that knife in the SW video, K : "oh, dopped me knife" !

i agree it does seem of dubious origins at best

but it's a good story and as gotdablouse mentioned above we do get to see the knife on the videowinking smiley

Could be Slash offering to add tasty blues licks to Thru And Thru.
Apparently Keith had another idea in mind... grinning smiley
