they never said that you would get bargain price tickets...it said you could buy tickets before the general public....which you can...and i did...so i ended up getting better seats then i would have if i had to wait till they went on sale to the general public...
they also said you would get a free dvd...and info on the stones tour...
like you would get with any fan club...
now i didn't get my dvd yet..they did send me a email telling me its on its way...but for my membership i did get great seats to see the stones..and i stilled paid less then if i went to a scalper!
sorry it didn't help you...

From 10am to 12pm, only pre May 10th memberships were allowed into the pre-sale.

Saw that, Erik; and it was my pal the Parachuter that made that search -
I was linkless on Alnön Island visiting my sick grandma.
Hadent the faintest idea it started out today on the whole.

Point is, primarily, that my "Platinum Site Access: 1 Year" suddenly
transformed to "no nothing", according to the people at rs dot com.

But I will try a couple of more times.

Another point is that it is a bad run site; hard to get a grip on the
info.
Third & crucial point may be that Money Talks; and I dont have´em.

You might say old Babooon´s a easy-to-fool naïve & greedy bastard;
but till this very dau I´d been craddled into the notion of
that a membership - esp. together with the key word
"Platinum" was sometihng useful when buying tix...

See ya around on Monday 09.00 - given I meet some rich folks before.
Before that I have to use my ticket for old Taylor of course...smiling smiley

What kind of code you had? Pre or after 10/may?
Did he try with the code you were given when you joined?
The only problem I had was that for during the first 10-15 minutes the Ticnet website
told me "sold out". Suddenly after quite a lot of refreshing it started to work and I got tickets. I hope everything will be ok.

I don´t think it´s rs.com fault. It is ticnet that has low capacity. Its quite tricky to get in. Compare that to American Ticketmaster that works excellent.

IMO, the bluffsters are more Cohl and his gang of bureaucrats and leeches...

Kind of reminds me of Muhammand Ali or Mike Tyson with a hundred and one "hangers on", each one an overpriced mouth to feed.

I doubt seriously that any of the "extra money" from the fan clubs and charity tickets, etc. etc. ever reaches the band.

And the band is probably willing to put up with it because Cohl and the Leeches make the concert tour run relatively smoothly...

But the band really SHOULD get involved... this is probably Jagger's responsibility... to at least ask themselves how they'd feel if they were on the "receiving end" of these policies...

Fans want:

1) The lowest-priced tickets they can get

2) Easy-to-understand policies

3) Fan clubs and "platinum experiences", etc. that WORK the way they are advertised.

Look at Motley Crue... their platinum experience works exactly as presented, their fan club "pre-sales" work exactly as presented... it's efficient, non-confusing, and the fan feedback is about 99% positive...

Now if Motley Crue can pull it off, why the &^%$#@ can't the Stones ???
