Is Foxborough famous for ice cream? Anyway, pretty cool idea.

It's a take on Boston Cream Pie/Donut.

Ah, now that makes sense. Boston Creme. Thank you for the clarification.

Good stuff. Thanks, schwonek.

From Spencer Onorato's Instagram:

I’m very excited to share these three official Rolling Stones posters I designed with Concerts West to promote the new Hackney Diamonds Tour. This was an amazing project to work on and I’m so glad I get to share these with you all today!

[www.instagram.com]

Wonder what happened to this guy's "official Rolling Stones" posters.

No sign of them as far as I know at the Glendale or (so far) New Jersey shows, and not available on his web store. Personally didn't much care for the designs, but my hunch is he fired himself from the project by promoting/boasting about them early. They tend to keep show posters under wraps pretty well until a day or two before.

scroll down on his insta post:

The poster seems to capture kitschy New England diner art work.The actual lips and tongue portraying Boston Cream Pie has a certain classic Stones sexual crudeness to it.

I love Boston and Boston Cream Pie, so please forgive a bias that lets me
see that poster in a light of approval.
That said, the Stones have a history of crappy posters and tee shirts going back for decades.
The saving grace is their music. No one does it better.

Some water. Some flames. And a fan.

Not sure what is going on with this one.

I’m going to this show, but not loving the design. Won’t buy any merch with this image on it. Oh well.

they had a lot of inspired posters for the No Filter tour in 2017/18

some examples are:
Munich 2017 => [iorr.org]
Dusseldorf 2017 => [www.pinterest.de]
Arnhem 2017 => [www.pinterest.de]
Dublin 2018 => [x.com]
Edinburgh 2018 => [www.pinterest.de]
Berlin 2018 => [www.bravado.de]
Warzaw 2018 => [www.pinterest.de]

what I especially liked about these posters (beside the design) is that the ways their motives are connected to the various cities are not too obvious but very well chosen

It's obvious the boys do the one not approve the artwork anymore, with "maybe"
exception being the "tour dates shirts". Still going with my previous thought that the set lists should be on the shirts, be we all know how Sir Mick is about sharing profits!!!!!............

A nice shirt with Charlie, with ALL profits going to one of Charlie's personal endeavors would be great, and a kind gesture to his daughter!

Some admittedly nice posters there. Maybe I was thinking of album covers.

.............that qoute was meant to respond to Welshful.

btw--------Born and bred in Boston, and believe me, nobody in Boston wakes up on a daily basis and hunts down a Boston Cream Pie!...........................

At the moment, I cannot think of any of the many Boston traditions being thought of around the world as "A Boston Thing". Please correct me if you know any.

...............

I didn't think it was possible, but this is worse than the Boston one, so far the Las Vegas and New Jersey ones are my favourites.

A. The image doesn’t really resemble an airboat well.

B. Orlando itself is not particularly known for airboats. Most airboating in Florida is found in the Everglades, which is not very close to Orlando.

C. They should have gone with rollercoaster design or something.

Who in the world could eat a Boston cream pie or donut on a regular basis, except maybe a kid. Anyhow, I do like the poster, has a nice retro feel about it.

It requires an excellent understanding of insulin dosing.

Orlando poster is the worst artwork I’ve ever seen, very disappointing. Compared to other bands like Dead & Company, whose contracted artists produce some really beautiful posters for their shows. This may be the first stone show in a while where I’m not purchasing the souvenir. I didn’t think it could get worse than Milan in 2021 but here we are… Lol
