Hi, just saw that some of you got the Fanclub dvd.
Did not know about that and i did not receive mine yet.
I am one of those pre 09 may members.
Who can clear it up.

What if u get the dvd and then go for a refund on your possibly unused memberships?

Surely they must have ways to avoid being ripped off by customers...

They prbly will wait as long as possible.

from what I understand it's a just a mish/mash of rs.com videos from the Licks tour that I've already burned onto disc anyway.

Got mine a week ago but it arrived damaged here (came from Sweden) as it was in the cheapest envelope and the thin sheet metal was soon damaged after the first small package hit the envelope.

That fits perfect to the whole situation of ticket sales and so on...

From Sweden???? Strange, I have´nt got mine yet, and I am in Sweden.

As far as I'm aware, the DVD is now also being sent to platinum members (ie those who joined up AFTER 9/5/05). In which case, I'd be a bit pissed at what I'd have got for a years membership in June 2004! (Thank God, I didnt take them up on their 'generous' offer)

They're listing the DVD as one of the benefits of membership of the fan club for the European tour.

I have 3 rs.com memberships (one from May 2005 and the others in the last week) so I'd expect three DVDs.

From what I'm led to believe theres little or nothing on it that would have reasonably prevented it from being sent prior to now. Some familiar archive clips including footage with Hooker on the Atlantic City PPV and the concert from India in 2003 that was shown on TV there

Just what we've been waiting for. Another Licks concert to add to the three we already have.

Good point, although I guess if youve bought tickets with your membership already theres no chance you'll be going for a refund - so maybe those people will get preference

I'm in Toronto, has anyone in North America got theirs yet?

I know a few on Rocks Off who live in the US who got theirs a couple of weeks ago

Hi! I'm in England and I got mine last friday. Badly packaged but not damaged. the tin is quite cool

Did you have a "pre 9 May" membership or a "post 9th May" membership?

Most stuff on the DVD is known. Some stuff from Honkong and some from Bangladore. Ronnie shopping. Mostly interviews (over and over the same words in every interview). One track from Atlantic City 89. Keith and Ronnie in the tuning room, Ronnie showing his guitars backstage...

Highlight to me is "The Nearness Of You" from Circus Krone! (why didn't they release the whole Circus Krone on this DVD?)

It came for "pre 9 May" ms.
