Mr Hunter isn't the only person affected by this event. Alan Pasaro and his family and friends would be happy to hear that the actions Pasaro took were legally justified.
There's an old rule that you don't bring a knife to a gun fight.
The fact is that with the Angels one shouldn't even bring a gun to a knife fight. Mr. Hunter chose to ignore that rule, to pull out his gun, and start waving it around. If that were to happen at a Stones concert today, I wouldn't be opposed to someone trying out some self-denfense.
You don't have to be a rocket surgeon to figure out what's going to happen next when someone pulls a gun in America.
werent the angels kicking peoples asses way before meredith pulled out his gun?
i dont know about you, but if i was in a mob where people in front of me were getting beaten up, and i was being pushed into them, damn straight id have a gun out.
At Altamont, They played JJ Flash, Carol, Sympathy, Sun is shining, Stray cat blues, Love in vain, and Under my thumb. I can't recall what was played after Under My Thumb...

Hells Angels and Chicago cops, . . . you don't fcuk wid 'em.
Billy clubs and pool sticks and Brown paper packages tied up with string These are few of . . .
Don't we all know that by now? Walk away people, walk away.
i live in ottawa in canada, theres a lot of hells angels in this area, a bit less than montreal. they are not a pleasant bunch. I agree with that
at the same time, if you were at altamont, and you were black, and people are getting beaten up around you, would you fear your safety, what would you do.
