I'm sure Meredith would be pleased to realize he wasn't murdered....

Mr Hunter isn't the only person affected by this event. Alan Pasaro and his family and friends would be happy to hear that the actions Pasaro took were legally justified.

There's an old rule that you don't bring a knife to a gun fight.

The fact is that with the Angels one shouldn't even bring a gun to a knife fight. Mr. Hunter chose to ignore that rule, to pull out his gun, and start waving it around. If that were to happen at a Stones concert today, I wouldn't be opposed to someone trying out some self-denfense.

You don't have to be a rocket surgeon to figure out what's going to happen next when someone pulls a gun in America.

And would you put out a fire with gasoline?

Hells Angels and Chicago cops, . . . you don't fcuk wid 'em.

Billy clubs and pool sticks and
Brown paper packages tied up with string
These are few of . . .

Don't we all know that by now? Walk away people, walk away.

wouldnt point it at them, believe me.

i live in ottawa in canada, theres a lot of hells angels in this area, a bit less than montreal. they are not a pleasant bunch. I agree with that

at the same time, if you were at altamont, and you were black, and people are getting beaten up around you, would you fear your safety, what would you do.

Why bring the gun to the concert to begin with? Expecting trouble??

I have no sympathy for the dude. If he doesn't bring the gun he is still alive.

Simple as that.

"if you were at altamont, and you were black, and people are getting beaten up around you, would you fear your safety, what would you do."

Move back from the stage, away from the Angels, not pull out a gun, virtually guaranteeing your own serious injury or death!
