Hackney Diamonds” the upcoming new album by The Rolling Stones was partially recorded at The Hit Factory, New York City in Studio 1 by Kenta Yonesaka. We are extremely proud to be a part of this special album from the greatest rock n roll band of all time

The question was raised whether the photos of those tongue projections were all real of whether some of them where photoshopped (for example, the Wellington Arch and the Chrysler Building ones).

What do people think? I can't call it. Somehow it feels weird that the Stones would just photoshop a tongue on a building and then post it.

It seems to be the latter: someone from Berlin went on 29th August at 11:40pm by bicycle to the projection near 'Rotes Rathaus' - and saw nothing. Same with the projection in 'Brunnenstraße'. But the reward for his effort was a broken tyre. He also had no luck with the 'Forty Licks' popsicle campaign on 26-Jul-2023 due to missing infos beforehand. Got to [RollingStones.com] and 'save as' the London picture directly onto your Computer. Then have a look into the EXIF-data of the picture: "Adobe Photoshop 24.1 (Macintosh)".

Or take this 'Restaurant/Bar' picture, load it into an image editor and increase the brightness significantly. The reflection seems not real because there's no complete water surface there - only a roof surface.

At least it's a cheaper campaign that way!

Maybe posters and/or real projections will pop up soon in various cities in the upcoming days. It's nice to see the UNZIPPED Exhibition posters with the tongue logo in various cities all around the Netherlands at the moment.

There will be more teasers in the week leading up to the announcement, I'm pretty sure.

I think this is one of the most brilliant add campaigns. I wonder who came up with the title, and the concept, of the broken glass.
This is the 1st time I've seen Jagger flat-out state that the album needs to be great.

They should move the date to 09.09.

Finally some good news in a world gone mad!

what's interesting about those pictures showing the projections – most of the places are very easy to recognize (even if you have never been there) sínce they show famous/well knwon places or buildings. But especially photo showing a street in Berlin is different. Even for locals it's not that easy to find out where it has been taken.
I wonder if this difference signifies anything. It's also noteworthy that Berlin in the only place that's shown on two pictures.

London as well: Wellington Arch and Tate Modern. New York too: Museum of Arts and Design plus Chrysler Building.

The exact location of the Berlin Brunnenstraße picture was indeed a bit difficult to decipher, but my first thought of Rosenthaler Straße (Apple Store) wasn't completely wrong.

The "trend" is to get back to quality, not quantity. What we don't need are songs filling up space like Always Suffering, Might As Well Get Juiced, Sparks Will Fly, Blinded By Rainbows, You Got Me Rocking, Streets Of Love, Sweet Neocon and, well, you get the point.

There are at least three in New York. The Brooklyn Eagle who published the photo that Rockman posted above said there was a team operating out of a black pickup truck loaded with equipment. Sounds like they project the image, get a photo and then they're out as quickly as they came in.

That's not a particularly cheap offer...

Because they copy & paste from here without double checking. There's no 'Morning Joe Cues' in the SACEM and GEMA databases. This tracks has also a completely different ISWC-Code than the other 11 new tracks.

I think we will get a single on Wednesday. Too much hype for just a snippet.
