Do you do any karaoke Rolling Stones songs? What are some of your favorites? Any rare or unexpected (non-warhorse) songs among the ones you enjoy singing?

When I am not out with my band gigging I usually go karaokeing. I always do a perfect version of Tumbling Dice and I do both Jagger and backing vocals during the coda. It sounds marvellous! Not ONE single time where I haven't got standing ovations. I enjoy doing SMU and BS too but then I feel I must dance around more as they are a bit different to sing, funnily enough.

I did JJF at an all inclusive resort in Lanzarotte back in 2002. A few kids mumbled away through some recent pop song then three guys got up and murdered ‘three Lions on the shirt’ which is a song about the England football team. No one took any notice. The karaoke aspect of the evening was dying on its feet. Then I jumped up and burst into Jumping Jack Flash - doing all the moves - and the place went NUTS. My kids were mortified. It’s amazing how brave a few cocktails can make you!!
