Looking at Zappa's chart he was more than an "average" sagittarius... he had 3 very personal planets in the sign of the archer: sun, mercury, and venus. Mars in neighboring scorpio might explain part of his sexual fixations, and certainly 3 planets in determined taurus explain his tenacity.

Moon and Neptune in Virgo is very revealing. Neptune rules our fantasy and imagination and can be expected to spill over into any musical writing, artwork, etc. Zappas musicianship, especially on Burnt Weeny Sandwich was very precise, almost classical. Reflecting that famous Virgo "pickiness" and attention to detail.
