Eens. Ik kan dit niet voor mezelf rechtvaardigen. Als ze nou nog de sterren van de hemel speelden en het leven verder niet zo tyfusduur was geworden dan was ik misschien gegaan, maar €85 voor de minste plaatsen. En dan ook nog in die galmbak van een Arena.. Jammmer...

I will be at the Hampton Amsterdam Arena Boulevard at least from 12 June to 14 June, might fly in on Friday or Saturday as well as I have never visited Amsterdam before. Was able to get a 2 nights stay on my Hilton points so that's nice.

€151 for pitch tickets. That's pretty expensive if you'd ask me. The Arena isn't my favorite concert location to put it mildly. I paid less for pitch tickets for the London 2018 show including my flight ticket!

I'm in France in the week of the Paris show. Maybe I'll go there. I prerer open air locaties...

What's the difference between Diamond Pit and Golden Circle ?

Diamond Pit is front of stage.

PIT prices are of course high, but acceptable compared to probably UK or German prices. Arnhem 2017 was 230, that was a real bargain in retrospect.

Zoals je mag verwachten voor hun zestigste verjaardagsfeest trakteren de Stones fans op een unieke setlist, vol met klassiekers zoals ‘‘Gimme Shelter’, ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’, ‘Tumbling Dice’, ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’, ‘Start Me Up’ en nog veel meer. Maar het zou geen Rolling Stones concert zijn zonder ook wat verrassingen per optreden; zo komt ook een selectie onverwachte keuzes uit hun enorme arsenaal aan nummers voorbij. SIXTY krijgt bovendien een geheel nieuwe productie, inclusief een enorm podium, bijzondere lichtshow en dito video ontwerp, allemaal speciaal vervaardigd voor deze langverwachte Europese tournee. Bovendien maakte de Britse ontwerper Mark Norton een speciale, nieuwe versie van de Rolling Stones tong, het handelsmerk van de band.

The Johan Cruijff Arena (old Amsterdam Arena) is just totally not suitable for any concert. And the current Stones, with a set of only 19 songs, without Charlie Watts, with mainly big hits I do not want to hear anymore, at these prices, in a venue totally unsuited for music: forget about it.

The radio presale seems to be a different one. There will be all kinds of presales. For example in Sweden there's a Live Nation presale.

Mathijs is right. There are far better venues in the Netherlands. But Mojo concerts is a JC Arena shareholder, so they end up there most of the time when they visit Holland.

The place has very poor acoustics. Even when the roof is open. I'm not going to pay these prices to see my favorite band, sounding like they're playing in an emty concrete parking garage...

I'm still thinking about it. ArenA sound sucks. It might be the last time to see them in NL. But I've been saying that with Stones concerts as far back as I can remember..

Me too. There are options not to far in Brussel and Gelsenkirchen. Skipped Arena the last time and missed Shine a Light.

I decide years back never go to this arena, the sound is so bad way Up from the stage sounds like they play in a cooky can

I saw the Stones at Amsterdam Arena in 2006. It was an echo chamber. I didn't realize they just renamed the old stadium, and I already made hotel reservation. Oh well. Just need to get front of stage.

All these years, and they haven't fixed the echo?
