She’s great - first saw her supporting wilko Johnson and solo since. Sadly cancelled last year’s uk tour after a couple of postponements, but we’ll worth a watch
Seen her about ten times over the years. Great guitar slinger with a sultry, soulful voice. Mainly blues-based and very good live. She would have been my last pre-covid show, but it was cancelled at short notice for Joanne and her band to return to the States. Unfortunately she's not coming to Scotland when she returns to the UK for a (very) short tour in April.
JST's latest, "The Blues Album" is as good as Albert King's "Born Under A Bad Sign" or "King of the Blues Guitar" by Albert King. Produced by Joe Bonnamassa, yes, it's that good. Pure classic.
