Was this stolen Nellcote?
It is odd that is wasn't played on the 1969 tour.
At Hyde Park It was keith number 1 guitar
Strange he would change....was the ampeg guitar a "sponsored" guitar for that tour and beyond?8
Mathias?

By the Ampeg guitar you mean the Dan Armstrong Plexiglass guitar , which also I believe was nicked at Nellcote . The Ampeg Dan Armstrong Plexiglass guitar was the first prototype Dan Armstrong built with his Apprentice A very young Matt Umanov that sourced the Brazilian wood for the fingerboards and the Ivory for the nuts (from lower Manhattan ) and the very first prototype went to Keith Richards . Talk about the best kind of celebrity endorsement ! Ampeg replaced it but Keith didn't like it , and I believe Keith used a new reissue during the 2017 tour ? and he didn't like it at all .

Can't remember seeing him with the flyig V during the american or european shows in '69-'70. Only back stage, so it was probably/maybe used during rehearsals. Also I believe he used it on some of the Exile-sessions. The only concert I can remember it from is the Hyde Park. -The coolest guitar Keith ever had!

Did Keith play it at Hyde Park as a tribute to Brian? Wasn’t Brian more associated with it than Keith
