It's Wednesday today, and Emma won that great match in New York last Saturday.

Every day she has been front page news in many newspapers here in UK, and loads of pics of her.
As far as I know, she still hasn't arrived back home in London.

She is a dream come true for the media here in UK, and I'm looking forward to see her on TV again over here. smileys with beer

Just watched Emma's match from Indian Wells, she lost in straight sets to Aliaksandra Sasnovich who I'd never heard of before. Too many unforced errors. Up 4-2 in the second set but then lost the next 4 straight games.

She learned more tonight than she did in 3 weeks in NYC.
Good for her, helps her a lot.

Yes! I was very surprised when I saw on BBC news this morning she lost 6-2 6-4 to the girl from Belarus.
Hopefully she will learn from her mistakes when she plays her next match in Moscow in 10 days time. thumbs up

From my understanding all about Emma is "learning learning learning".
I'm sure she gets a lot out of this match.

And most important: Thank god she is human ;-)

I'm sure the past month has been a blur for her, probably doing a lot of appearances and interviews on tv and newspapers in Britain. Now she can get back to concentrating on tennis.

After having seen the first half of the match now, it's obvious that 4 weeks
without tournament has left traces. The fine tuning was missing. A few more
matches before and it would have been good.
Oh well, no big deal, with time comes more practice and everything will be fine.
