There's an interesting article on this if you go to The Independent online edition Features Nov. 6 (I have no idea how to post the link here or I would. And my kids aren't home to ask them how. lol)
Anyway, I can't watch it tonight because I'm in Virginia but if any of y'all check it out tonight I'd be interested in your thoughts.
Have a good one.

I must have blinked when the 'fresh evidence' was revealed

To sum up :

1) According to Tom keylock, Frank Thorogood confessed on his death bed that he killed Brian

2) According to Thorogood's daughter (who wasnt interviewed), he did no such thing

3) No one is any the wiser. Including the police.

I liked the train of thought that the director of the new movie 'Stoned' followed at one point - stating that throughout his life, scapegoats were presented as the source of his troubled life, his family, Oldham, Mick & Keef, Pallenberg.

When ultimately at the end of the day, responsibility must end with him. let us not forget that it is widely reported that he had a mean streak, and it is common knowledge that he beat several women who he was relationships with - even before the Stones happened. Because of these facts I have never really warmed to the image of Brian that many others have.

It was boring hours worth of inconsequential rubbish. They even had the Counterfeit Stones playing and singing over live footage of the band, as if to fool the public - crass beyond belief.
No new evidence, , same old faces recalling the same old story - none the wiser.
But who cares anyway.....he 'died' long before he was fired from the band.

Well, it seems by your posts I didn't miss anything. I'd like to read something true and interesting on Brian Jones. Anyone know of any "must reads" on Brian? Thanks,cm

Seeing as BJ died nearley 40 years ago does it really matter than another dead man said he killed him as he himself died? Doesn't this documentary just open unanswerable questions? Why can't we just remember him as the former stone he was. (no pun intended)
