Hi,I just saw FF marked down to about $55AUD.I am seriously thinking of purchasing this great live package. In the opinion of true Stones fans,is it worth it?I mean are the Twickenham and Paris shows good?Ive read both good and negative reveiws here in the past.Just how would you rate it?Thanks, bye.
imo ist 10000% worth to own it. fantastic dvd package !!!

On the documentary disc, in the beginning it shows each member of the band getting out of limo's (before the press conference) and then you see Ronnie get out of a trailor. Cracks me up. That whole disc is a treat.
Highlights (for me):
MSG ----- Street Fighting Man Monkey Man Midnight Rambler When The Whip Comes Down
Twickenham ---------- Slipping Away Star Star Satisfaction
Paris -------- No Expectations Worried About You Stray Cat Blues

It's a great dvd set. MSG is the best show IMO followed by the club gig at Olympia. The documentary is also pretty interesting. You've got to buy it straight away.
Palais Royale sucks. Not because of the Stones but the recording is so incredibly bad. MSG and Twickenham make it worth it, though. Especially Twickenham is a great show. I watch it regularly.
OK so people on here don't think that I am a total shit. I would say buy it. Although I only paid $19.99 for it. The Documentary is pretty good. Of course they are hamming it up a little for the cameras . But that is fine. So Just crank up the Surround sound and enjoy. There are several very good moments . Midnight Rambler is very good from MSg. I happen to like Turn Me Loose . That was fun to watch .
Buy it, great concerts, great sound. If you don't have a surround equipment, you have to switch to the stereo mode and than you have a perfect sound , too.

huh? The theatre show on FF is from Paris, not Palais Royale (although theres a snippet of the palais royale show in one of the documentaries)
Hansel - put it this way. Four Flicks is THE most essential release the Stones have put out in the last 25 years, either audio or video
Superb concerts, superbly filmed and recorded, excellent documentaries.
Its absolutely indispensable and superbly put together. No one should feel sold short with this one. Its as good a concert DVD as you'll ever see from anyone.
Really good. I loved the song selection at small French venue on disk 4. This is the best. Maybe MSG is better "sounding" but setlist on Disk 4 is great. Many of those may never play again. Hand of Fate I loved hearing!
