in a row is a roller coaster.
I knew some local bands who used to play for 4 or 5 hours, with breaks after a couple of songs.
Up to 1973 the stages were quite small so Mick Jagger did not jump around too much (that started in 1975). So performing for a little over three hours is certainly wearing but under normal conditions this is what many bands do. Springsteen performed for four hours back in the 1980s!
And finally, you know that you have to do a certain number of concerts, and then the tour is over. That's what touring is all about. At least you have those little helpers...
I do not want to deny the strains of touring but obviously you get in a certain mood that keeps you on your feet otherwise Artists would not say they miss ist very much when the sour is over.
