make out music
Posted by: canadian.sway ()

im not sure if there had been a thread about this lately or not. but a few friends and i were talking about what music is the best to have on in the background while 'making out' (wink wink) with someone.

i said Portishead is sleaky and sexy,
but i was trying to think of some stones music to toss in there.
any suggestions?

i think sympathy for the devil, as well as the old ballads from 62-66 are pretty good.

what do you think?
what stones tunes set the mood for you?

A good mix of Rod Stewart sex music would work. Can't go wrong with old fogie Sinatra.

and Elmo...how 'bout "Sex Machine" from Mr.Brown.....right to the point

James Brown's music is the rhythm and sound of sex. He's a Georgia boy, too!

"I Feel Good" I Got You - that one pretty much says it all!

Sorry Leonard, but much too obvious! Give "This Place Is Empty" a try......
Women do love Keef! It'll be much easier to get rid of her bra after HE told her "bare your breasts.." - lol ;-)

When I was a teen we used to play "Child In Time" by Deep Purple (the loooong version from Made In Japan) usually, when time has come to make out some girls. It worked!

Variety is the spice of life, but the Rolling Stones are the fiber.

THE classy lady of your life deserves "You Are The Light" by Maria McKee/Lone Justice - believe me! After you've played it to her she loves you more than ever - my experience!
The lady of my life is more into the "@#$%&"-like Stones tunes, so I had to choose another kind of lovesong and that one works pretty well! ;-)

OK, Leonard, European Tour next year, Berlin would be a great place to meet! You MUST see them in Europe if you haven't yet. I've been in the US 1994 (Syracuse) and 1997 (Oakland) - but the crowds here are ridiculous! Especially in Holland and in England (Wembley 1995 was awesome!)

Any of the early 70's Al Green albums then work up to something like Otis Redding's first Album Pain In My Heart..You Send Me...These Arms Of Mine... That's What My Heart Needs..

And if ya really wanna ride and ya heart can handle it move to Reddings - Otis Blue packed out with such gems as My Girl..Satisfaction..Rock Me Baby..Respect...PHEW!!!!...collapse....zzzzzz...

It actually is fun! Great clubs in Germany too (living in Stralsund now, but coming from Hamburg)! And great club shows!!! Remember Ian MacLagan on his "Troublemaker" Tour in a small club in Hamburg (you can put your beer on the monitor box on stage while lighting a cigarette there!) - stunning!
