actually ... that Faraway Eyes has been circulating for a while posing as a Keith rendition,
but i believe it's really a slightly-speeded-up Mick rendition.
maybe someone should submit it to the Ask Keith section on his website. :E

here's one ...
[rapidshare.de]

that's Little Queenie, from Keith's beautiful 1983 set with Jerry Lee Lewis.

i know most of you have those songs, anyway for the others, enjoy!

Here's a mighty fine Everly Brothers tune from Keefs Brookfield, Mass. sessions 1981 (if I'm correct)!

"All I Have To Do Is Dream": [s55.yousendit.com]

Anyway, THE Keef rarity is the mysterious song "Scarlet" from the mysterious session with Jimmy Page held in 1973 (1974?, not sure)! Does anyone have more information than the well known sources? Or a recording??? (All I have to do is dream....) ;-)

Farawayeyes2! Thanks for posting the Kilburn version of Sure the one you need.A great recording . Where is this from? A recording of the entire concert? Where can I obtain a copy? Thanks for any info.

Ronnie Wood played a couple of gigs at the Gaumont State Theatre in Kilburn on 13th and 14th July 1974

Keith played in his band on both nights. The second night was professionally filmed and is available in collectors circles as a video/DVD

I would assume the version you heard is from the 14th July show.

>> far away eyes from some girls session, Keith on vocals. <<
>> This is definitely Mick, not Keith <<

thanks for the support. it's worth reiterating: that's NOT Keith.
it's a speeded-up version of an early Mick take.

and it's beautiful! i'm curious, though: on my copy of the CD, Monkey Man/Shirley is rudely interrupted
by the weirdest deliberate-sounding intrusion of some guy saying "that's almost the end" or something like that -
is that on the master tape, or have i somehow got an extra-flawed version?

All of Keith's songs (with the exception of Infamy and The Worst) are now considered to be rare.

>> Re the Jerry Lee Lewis track..Fantastic, is it available on CD? <<

glad it grooved you; it's from a 1983 TV tribute to Jerry Lee, and yeah, the whole set (4 numbers) is around on CD
(although i've only ever seen one CD with all four of them together) and on DVD too.
both were tree'd on shidoobee within the last year, so if you ask around over there
someone can probably help you out. (i don't have copying capability, i'm sorry!)

here's another from that show: Whole Lotta Shakin Goin On :E
