So is Paint It Black with our without a comma? And is there a comma in Oh No Not You Again? That last one is actually bothering me, somewhat, to be honest, because the album is listing it without any space at all. But I have had other things on my mind lately, so I decided myself there is no comma. Not on PIB. Not on ONO.

Check out inner sleeve of SACD More Hot Rocks ... 2000 Light Years From Home is mis-titled 2000 Light Years From The Sun.

Well, then , settle this one --"Rolling Stones" or "THE Rolling Stones".

I prefer the original name myself - "Rollin' "

Thank god for this forum. Without it I might not have thought of such important topics as the comma thing: A comma in Paint it black - yes or no? Maybe someone has written a dissertation about this problem? I think so.

Glad there's no comma in

She's, So Hot

and

Start, Me Up

and

Jumping, Jack Flash

etc...

It should actually be (I Can Not Get Any) Satisfaction

the actual title (I Cant get No) Satisfaction makes no grammatic sense as its a double negative.

The title actually implies that he CAN get satisfaction.

That's the end of today's lesson, children...smiling smiley

On the Promo CD by the nice name "therollingstonesinstoresampler" there are twelv songs out of which seven are stated to be from the new CD and five from various oldies. The oldies are songs like Brown Sugar, Angie and things like that. One interesting song is one that is stated to be from the new "abiggerbang" and the name of that one is "Happy".
Hmm, I have plaid ABB soo many times by now but for some reason i do not recall any song by that name....? Hmm.. is that maybe an old song or...Hmmm hehhehe

according to the Stones' own site*,

The top comma songs are:

Paint It, Black

Oh No, Not You Again

Laugh, I Nearly Died

Star, Star

and the lesser known

Comma (I Need You Baby)

*This is how the titles are punctuated in the discography section.

p.s. The ABB CD text is full of errors.

The most common printing error these days by the Stones officially is "Honky Tonk Woman". Don't know where they got it from.

Why don't they pronounce the commas when they sing the songs.it would resolve all this confusion.
