Agreed that GHS is much better than IORR, which I think is a generally overrated album.

Right on Edward. Also don't understand/agree with people who say this is a poorly produced album. GHS has excellent sound IMHO. Jimmy Miller apparently understood the Stones and their sound better than anyone. Rarely does somebody mention that JM produced all of the "classic" albums. Quite a contribution he had, it seems to me. His magic was the abiltiy to mix quite a few colors (Nicky, strings, horns, multiple guitar tracks). Never again has a Stones album so artfully meshed such a menage. Buy some new stereo equipment, you nay-sayers. GHS is a beautiful production, and wouldn't have as many fans otherwise.

I think GHS is the most underrate album of the Stones. Was the first album after Exile On Main Street. Just then (1973) people were realizing the greatness of Exile. Bad timing for GHS...
