At a hospital in Shoals area. Many of you know this but he was a member of the Swampers as well as engineered the Stones tracks Brown Sugar, You Gotta Move, and Wild Horses during their 69 sessions here in Muscle Shoals

Thought you were referring to the ex-Cowboys/Dolphins head coach at first.

RIP.

And I thought it's the bassist by that name.

Usually, Wikipedia is super-quick in noting the death of people but over at Wikipedia, your Jimmy Johnson still lives on! smiling smiley

Ya, lots of Jimmy Johnson's in the world, I added a change to the title.. Word spread fast here in town (Donnie Fritts just recently passed here as well) so not surprised wiki didn't have it up yet

He's the one in Gimme Shelter movie sitting at the control board at Muscle Shoals with Mick just before they play Wild Horses?

Very confusing!
I thought of Johnny Johnson, the great Keyboard player, Chuck Nerry sideman and 'friend' of Keith.
Also, Jimmy Johnstone, the late great Scottish footballer.

RIP, anyway.
