Had my Ticketmaster open two hours before the LA show went on sale and there's 44K people in front of me ffs... lol. Just wanted a nosebleed to get in the door.
I finally got through, but ironically it wouldn't let me in on my work network because it suspected I was a bot. So I don't know how they do their system, because obviously a million bots get in anyway, but that really threw me for awhile. And of course no way for me to prove I'm NOT a bot. In on the phone (which isn't the ideal way I wanted to search for stuff and still have 18000 in front of me. So yknow, the capacity of the venue lol.

I finally got through, pulled a decent ticket for $275 after fees. In my cart, put in my credit card info, no insurance, terms and conditions, and then it sat processing the order for 10 minutes till it timed out. What a racket. Then it put me BACK in the queue, and actually it wasn't letting me get back in the queue cause it kept saying there was an issue. So honestly, I'll find a ticket on resale or try general onsale. Its been enough bother this morning sadly.

Well thats good news.

Someone must have spoken to him that he's charging $500 for tickets and people are gonna be pretty pissed if he doesn't throw them a bone. They're gonna sit through his whole new album presumably, at least give the crowd Shine On You Crazy Diamond.

Scattered is such a solid track off the new album. Generally enjoying this one.

Scattered has the potential to be incredible live. Could really dig into that solo for an extended period, which is what we really want to see David do.

If this is something to go by, the minitour will have, as always, mixture of the old.

A Single Spark definitely has that classic Gilmour solo in it too. What a master of his instrument. $90 tickets available for his Inglewood, CA show.

Gilmour's studio, is it docked right by Privy Garden on the Thames river? As in, on that side of the river? Or is it right near the Hampton Court bridge?

This is a good article here with insight to some of the material on the new album

It's the last line that is most important where he states more shows to come in 2025!

Setlist for tonight's rehearsal in Brighton in many ways exactly what I expected. Some surprises, all in the solo songs he ended up not playing for me. Hopefully he's got some alternates prepared, though I was prepared if this was indeed the set.

Same set for second night of rehearsal too. People still hopeful Shine On will show up in the actual show. I'm doubtful. That, Astronomy Domine and What Do You Want From Me the leading contenders to still make appearances. Apparently his daughter won't be at every show so the assumption is something will replace her song. Who knows.

I was in Brighton yesterday. His daughter sounds very good. Why do you think she sings no on every show?

Believe there's an interview where they say she's still in school and wouldn't be present at every show, which I'm assuming is the US ones? But I'm not sure. I'm going off that though, nothing against her. I agree she sounds good. How was the show?! Heard it was spectacular.

Managed to grab a ticket to Saturday rehearsal. It was really a full-blown 2.5h show with production etc. The only difference is there was no elevated stage but rather all production was placed on the floor with just 1500 lucky ones in the stalls. The show is phenomenal and new songs gel well with classic Floyd material. David's voice might not be strong anymore, but with back-up singers (including his talented daughter, Romany) it's still delivering. Highlights for me were "Fat Old Sun", "High Hopes", new piano rendition of "The Great Gig In the Sky" and new stuff - "Between Two Points", "Piper's Call" and absolutely stunning "Scattered". Really looking forward to the actual tour.

I have tickets for two of the MSG shows.

I was really hoping for "There's No Way Out of Here" and some cuts from About Face but I guess he has moved past that.

This is good news to hear the shows are going well with the mix of new songs.

I haven't really looked forward to many shows besides the Stones, but I am definitely ready for Dave's!
